  Awful customer service from the new "manager" tonight. Been going there for over a year, regularly, most of the staff knows us, been spending lots of money there, but the girl didn't want to hear anything about giving us a refill of hot water (!) for our tea. Even though we had bought food, too! We had brought a friend there for the first time tonight because we used to like the place but he left saying "Won't come back here. Can't stand awful business practices". He's right. Unfortunately, we'll have to bring our business elsewhere from now on. (By the way, Second Cup, Starbucks, any other respectable coffee shop will gladly refill your hot water no problem. They care about their customers.) Not here anymore it seems. Manager was rude, too. Stay away!

  I'm surprised how places like this stay in business. I believe that they are just lucky that there is no competition near by thus if Starbucks or Café Depot is reading this there is an opportunity here. The food is ok and quite expensive. A tea is very expensive and when I asked to add a little hot water to warm my tea I was told no and the manager was quite rude. I was told I should have asked for a large, but all tea sizes are the same price so I was confused as to why she was refusing. We had all eaten dinner there​ and ordered drinks so this is a first for me to be refused water after ordering a whole meal. Needless to say the weekly visit here will no longer occur hopefully another coffee shop will open nearby.
